Haha I’m old. Time fucking flies, I swear I didnt realize it was 20 years ago. It’s like when I look in the mirror and shit some middle-aged lady is looking back at me. The story I told did happen, I promise, don’t let my dementia time skills make you suspect it. It was a hotel bar/restaurant in Chicago.

Fiona Apple is so underrated. Her lyrics are perfection.

i loved her and her album so much.. My understanding from a former security guard of hers .. was that she was brilliant.. but very troubled..i hope she is ok

Unpopular opinion: George Clooney is not all that handsome and seems like a complete dick with his love of practical jokes. And now this pear-shaped, potato-faced wang—who everyone inexplicably insists is the ultimate catch—is calling his son a “thug” and his daughter “elegant”? George Clooney sucks, people.

Ben Whishaw is one of the greatest actors of his generation. Saw him the Crucible... incredible.

It’s probably a good description of Whishaw in general. If you’re a fan of his you need to see “Lilting”. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard at or been so moved by a film.

Tom is my current bf when he’s doing Shakespeare. He could be a serial killer and then shoot out a sonnet or 2 and I’d be like “Wellll-l-l-....just try not kill any more people?”

Lets just not wear pants anymore. Anywhere. Problem solved.

Toms take on the character was Directed by Branagh, who was definitely trying to infuse it with some Shakespearean undertones

I agree. I think he is a fine film actor but a truly gifted and dazzling theater actor. And he excels at Shakespeare (although I think Coriolanus is criminally underrated among Shakespeare’s works. It should be better liked, but it’s length is a problem. Still, it’s definitely one of the more resonant plays

Agreed. He has the potential to become one of the Shakespeare greats if he keeps doing it. Corilianus was phenomenal.

I actually rather like Tom best when he’s performing Shakespeare. I know everyone fell in lust with him over Loki, etc., which is also fine (and how I found out who he was in the first place), but I went to a taped performance of Coriolanus, which he starred in around 2014, and I was blown away by how he made the

He’s sooooooo corny...but I still probably would, even after everything.

I think it had more to do with poorly wearing the tee. Alas, poor Hiddles, I knew him well...

This poor sap. So many people have suffered far less for doing far worse than poorly faking a romance.

he can stare at the back of my ear any day

I don’t know if you can call it “dismantling systems of oppression,” but since reading Jezebel, and later Splinter and The Root, I’ve learned far more about transphobia, misogynoir, allyship, how politics works, and tons of other topics that I, as a baby feminist, was only slightly or not at all aware of a few yrs

I didn’t choose celibacy, celibacy chose me. I miss sex but I’m also like Cher from Clueless: “You’ve seen how picky I am about my shoes and they only go on my feet.”

I’m trying to work my way toward embracing it, since apparently I will be stuck here forever, but... it is not going well.

*laughs aristocratically*
