Man, Taylor really has a type, and that type is “bland looking white guy.”
Oh, do not ever ever ever take more money than you need to from student loans. School, books, housing. Get a job for everything else. It is so tempting take the full amount but just don’t.
The funny part is: I am a horrible golfer. I will never hit another hole in one in my life. I was so excited I had no idea she was going to freak out on me when I dropped her off.
My oldest will be 3 in 2 days and I’ll be 39 in 2 weeks. I am so very thankful for 36 years of sleep and “me” time. No regrets.
Gurl just wait until you’re in your 30s then it really begins
It’s the age when everyone starts having babies. Also the age when your family starts bothering you to get hitched already.
I am very “it grows back” about my hair. I’ve had it long and pixie short and every way in between, but my face is fat now. I’m nervous I would look like a sprouting potato.
Listen, too much conditioner may be the problem. We were discussing this on another thread. Product buildup can clog the follicles, cause hair loss, and certainly create unmanageable locks that are so coated that nothing can get through to them. It sounds counter-intuitive but use shampoo.
It’s been going on for as long as United Methodism has existed. The UMC was formed in 1968 from the merger of the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Evangelical United Brethren, and homosexuality has been a topic of debate at every General Conference since.
John Wesley (the founder of Methodism) had a saying: “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity.”
That philosophy is the reason why Methodism can encapsulate such a broad range of views - from George W. Bush to Hillary Clinton. Basically, what’s happening now is that the liberal side…
There’s actually a huge split in the Methodist Church, to be fair. A significant portion is super liberal, a significant portion is not. They almost split when I was in high school over the issue, but ultimately stayed together. I think it’s coming to a head again though.
It bothers me every time I see people say this, because for every mega-church pastor driving home in a Rolls, there are 100 small churches like mine hosting Monday afternoon dinners for homeless folks, collecting funds to pay a single-mother’s light bill, and letting gay teens do really earnest interpretive dances…
Well said. I posted a pic here of the Hollywood, CA UMC church, which is very progressive. I was a bit shocked to read this regressive conservatism coming from them, but I recall the Episcopalians had a similar split 10 or 15 years ago over the same issue (then-bishop Gene Robinson) and it also was essentially…
WWJD? I doubt this.
I learned it from a fellow Jezzie a few years ago, and I’m doing my civic duty to pass it on to others now!
Whaaaatttt! I did not know that. That makes me so happy since they were married on Hannibal and that, um, didn’t work out so well.
Wow how did I not know those two were married?? Talk about an amazing couple.
Damn right she is! Laurence Fishburne is a lucky, lucky man indeed!
