There’s no official word I can find but he unabashedly loves Disney movies from that period and the dog LOOKS like Dodger. (We still have Oliver and Dodger ornaments on our family Christmas tree. My grandma ate SO MANY Happy Meals to get them for my brother and me.)

The dog’s name is Dodger, which I believe is named for the character in Disney’s Oliver and Company (a movie of which I have extremely fond memories).

The only information I know Jon had about his birth is that his “father” Ned went south to war and came back with a baby. That’s all ANYONE knew, far as I can tell. Catelyn said he never spoke of it with her. (This is on the show... books may have some more detail, but I don’t think so.)

We assume only Ned and Howland knew there was a baby. It’s possible the Maester did know but was sworn to secrecy and put it in his diary, assuming no one would ever read it. (Because why would anyone ever read that — ahem — crap?)

I thought the face of the little girl in the brothel was the face of the girl she eased into death by the pool. Remember? There was a scene where a girl was sick and scared and Arya helped her drink. I assumed it was the same face.

Yeah... but the look on Brienne’s face when she makes a kill is pretty close to the look on Arya’s. It’s more than she wants to be a knight. She likes the power of it. So does Arya. Podrick, while not a romantic interest, helps keep Brienne in check. I am hoping Gendry comes back so he can keep Arya in check.
