Huh. I have the opposite problem with the color puce. I always assumed it was bright yellow-green, like I believe chartruese is. Turns out puce is a magenta-y pink color. Perhaps that’s where the confusion comes in? Two colors with similar names?

Prohibition has a lot to do with this. American cocktails, as a whole, were created as a way of making gross moonshine and bathtub gin more palatable. Thus, they have more ingredients, more sugar and more fruit juices. Places that didn’t have Prohibition have fewer “mixed cocktails.” At least that’s been my experience…

YES! I was hoping someone would bring that up. She talked about that damn bag all the time. She is the #1 reason why I would never want one. (Of the white with color logos. They should care, at least a little bit. I know the gut reaction is, “Well, if he didn’t want this information known he shouldn’t have been doing it” but in this particular instance it seems like the guy’s biggest crime is not going through with a private visit and having a brother who is well-known in politics.…

Can I ask about how they figured out you were ADHD instead of anxiety-ridden? I’ve wondered for myself whether I have the former instead of the latter, but don’t exactly know what the differences look like. I’ve done the WebMD thing, but every symptom ends with “and you may die” so I stopped.

I also think it could dispell the myth that dogs who “look” like a breed are a breed, i.e. bully breeds. You mix three different types of dog, you can totally get a pittie-looking dog without much American Staffordshire in it at all.
