Endorsement system is definitely welcomed. As someone who is knowledgeable about the game and often lauded for my callouts, etc., it would be nice to get some recognition for that that follows me from match to match.

That does not follow logically, like at all.

Also, judicial independence is kind of a farce to begin with in a system of elected judges...and I say that as a lawyer.

I seriously don’t understand our culture. It’s totally fine to dislike something, it’s totally fine to not like a movie, or a character in a movie, but what compels people to spend their time harassing an actress or director on social media I will never understand. Get. A. Fucking. Life.

You thought *Rose* was the best part of TLJ??? Really?

Lol—Star Trek...🙄

I mean, Rose was a totally unnecessary character that was written in after the fact so that there would be. More tension between the characters in the Canto Bight sequence, which originally features Poe and Finn.

These are all terrible ideas.

I don’t think anyone is seeking to normalize it, I think some people just choose not to ignore the fact that Lewinsky actively pursued Clinton—this wasn’t a case of a man pushing himself on a woman without her consent, this was a case of someone in a position of power who likely played on the naivety of someone who

It’s wrong. Cuban accents maybe? The correct English pronunciation is “plan-tin.”

Uh, sure it is. The origin isn’t English, but the English word for hummus is hummus. Plantain is derived from Latin. There is an English word, plantain, and a Spanish word, platano.

Yeah...except that’s not the English word...

Except, you know, the people where plantain comes from, colonizer...

Actually, you’re wrong. As I said, it’s “Plan-TIN”

Croissant is another thing that pisses me off, as you will almost always be misunderstood if you say it correctly.

Oooh ooh, I have one. It’s actually a huge pet peeve of mine now that this fruit has become popular in the United States.

I thought of that immediately, they’re relying on Spaniard Spanish pronunciation

Absolutely. I’ve had many different experiences with trans people, ranging from passing interactions, in which any reference to one another’s gender identity is unnecessary because it’s just not relevant, to more close social interaction. In the former, I’ve had introductions back and forth and friendly discussion on

This is very much in line with my own experience interacting with trans and gender non-conforming people in the real world. I think for most of us who don’t have bigotry in our hearts, it’s pretty easy to afford people respect, and even if we don’t say the right thing all the time, people are understanding of it. I

I agree, it just seems like a pedantic argument. To be honest, if person x asked person y what pronouns they preferred, and person y responded by lecturing person x on why their gender expression isn’t a preference and scolded them for using that word, I’d think person y was kind of a jerk.
