Nintendo does screw up more when it comes to hardware, but maybe that’s because it’s the only company actually taking risks in that department. Each new piece of Nintendo hardware does something unique, and while that doesn’t always work out, it’s interesting that people will condemn Nintendo for trying to push the

Never going to happen.
PlayStation and Xbox are going to be PC services looooooooooong before Nintendo stops doing what it’s doing.

PC’s are 100% backwards compatible with older games. Games are a fraction of the price of console games. You spend less money pc gaming than you do as a serious console gamer. It’s one big scam.

If you don’t care about high resolution and graphical doodads you can get away with a lack of power and go with a cheap GPU and a cheap machine from Dell or Lenovo.

PC only would not raise the minimum price. Nearly everyone already has / needs a pc. Throw a GTX 1050 into any computer and you can now game. FYI PC is definitely cheaper over time as well.

The video game industry is healthier with more competitors, not fewer. Unless everyone just converges to PC, we’re all better off with Nintendo making hardware.

Not entirely true, though still unlikely.

People always say this, but there’s no evidence that it would actually be good for Nintendo. They are explicitly tied to their hardware. Their games are designed with it in mind, their philosophy for it lingers in every part. How well has Sega done after they took that route? How well has Atari done? Nintendo would

I wouldn’t think that, since many years later the NEW 3DS still rubbed screens, and still had loose hinges.

I’m proud of you my Faux Bravo.

That’s a rather unfair reaction to the Switch having hardware problems, as every console has it’s issues on release. Early adoption is always a risk.

I like when people say things like “as an adult with a job.” What does that mean exactly? What are you implying?

I have a full-time and a part-time job. Sometimes the part-time job grows into full-time work for a week or two at a time. I do a myriad of other things, as well. Yet I still find time to play games,

Yeah, I have a MAJOR issue. Zelda is consuming my entire life, and I’m at risk of losing a grip to anything else I lived for before this game. So...can I, like, sue Nintendo for that?

I already enjoy my Switch a lot more than my PS4, in terms of UI, hardware, and controllers. As long as Nintendo has a market, there is no reason as to why they should cater to the small population of Sony/MS super-fans.

Played probably 30 hours of BotW docked and undocked with the Joy-cons, pro controller, and with the joycon grip. Haven’t had any problems. people keep talking about how this is the worst console launch of all time and I think “damn, do people not remember the Xbox 360?”

The quakes here in Oklahoma are actually kind of fun. Now, granted, I’m not near any of the epicenters where there’s been building collapse, so I know it’s not fun for them. But in rural Oklahoma City, you hear it coming like a strong wind, then it feels like a car hit your house, and the pictures and china shake for

The cases are drawn back to leave the edge of the screen exposed, which leaves the face of your phone exposed in a drop situation. The only reason I ever put a case on my device was to protect the screen, really, so I have a naked S7E now.

Am I the only one that hates the way that messaging app looks on the “edge-bleeding” screen? It looks like a mis-formatted tv or something.
