According to my FitBit, and the Pokemon Go app.. we walked a little under 10 miles, just on Saturday alone.

We were out from.. 7pm until midnight or so.

Everyone had access to them.. and they were beneficial for every character. It was a mechanic, intended or not. .. and they were VERY well received. I don’t think that’s cheating, or even an exploit. Heck, we didn’t even have the internet back then.. and we found out about nearly all of the techniques on our own.

Nope. Most of them/us.. are fans of technique. I’ve loved every version of Smash since the 64.. but no game has been as fast paced, and rewarding to master tech skills as Melee.

While I understand wanting to look ‘perfect’. At the same time, using effects and cheating a bit here and there.. it no longer is just about the cosplayer’s work and dedication. It becomes a fake thing.. one that you could never have encountered in real life.

Not that I disagree, I think fragmenting the market is silly. Especially in such an infantile market, like VR... but after watching the Vita (which is a gorgeous piece of hardware!) all but flop around and die out.. I don’t particularly trust Sony to support things like this.

We tried a few of these when I was growing a scorpion pepper indoors. Despite that, our cat decided to try a nibble of a pepper one day. (spoiler: she’s fine) ..but let’s just say that nothing I tried kept her away.
