Hi there
hithere

My 1st deep dive into cars that weren’t trucks was with a 96 civic dx hatchback with a 5spd, i acquired it for $600 with 499k miles on it in 2008. It belonged to my friend before this and I was happy to take on the task of campaigning to 1,000,000. This went so well that after that I did it again, with a 91 hatch

My grandfather was a ford and gm dealer in a rural town in Arkansas USA. His favorite car of the 90's was a supercharged Aurora. He drove it all over America for about 335,000 miles before he died in 2013.

I like my 9th gen 6spd but I’ve never ridden in the back of it but my 80lb German Shepherds seem to like it, though they prefer the 13th gen f150 crew cab. I don’t mind the Accord for trips up to 400 miles a day or so. Beyond that I take the truck and it’s 36 gallon fuel tank. It gets 22 mpg at 65 mph, 17 at 75. 4x4

Big dogs LOVE crew cabs, man. Idk about previous F150 crewcabs but 13th and 14th gen crewcabs, their rear door windows recede all the way into the doors so your big fluffy large format lap residents (the others being cats) can lurk back there and not bash their necks on potholes, expansion joints, and the like. If you aren’t a felon or documented to be insane you should buy a gun(s) and learn to operate them well. That’s a terrible run of luck and rapists can be shot to death on the spot to preclude their raping anyone else in the future.

The way on my 91 civic hatchback was to take the bolt off the side and if it leaked there was too much, and if you stuck your finger in it and didn’t feel fluid directly below the hole you were to add 10w30 oil to it until it leaked, then replace the cap. The newer cars haven’t had to be inspected yet because that 91

You should shoot rifles at long range more, that’s another occasion to use “windage”.

Pumice soap doesn’t require extended scrubbing, my friend.

Because it sucks down fuel, the prime mover engine is designed to run between 650 and say 3000 or 6,000 RPM depending on if diesel or gasoline fired. A good generator only runs at 1800 RPM. Cheap runs only run at 3600. An engine that only runs at one speed is less complicated.

Honda makes a 3200w and they make 2000w units that can be paired together to make a 4000w generator.

I have tall screens on my africa twins (2015 and 2021, newer one dct) both have larger fuel tanks and high screens because they deigned to raise speed limit to 75 mph on most of the Interstates in AR.

The Bolsheveki are timeless aren’t they?

That is downshifting, but you can do it without the clutch if you rev match the crank and the transmission’s gear. It makes your brass synchros on all your forward gears last a really long time too.

If she can drive at all she can do it, not wanting to do a thing doesn’t mean they can’t it’s being a pedantic ass.

If you can downshift appropriately you can add engine braking to your hydraulic braking, this is how I emergency stop in my 1991 civic hatchback with 2.3l turbo motor and 6spd, 2014 accord sedan 6spd, and in my 2016, 19, and 20 Ford trucks (f150, 350 drw, 350 7.3l gas srw) because they have “Select Shift” in that you

If you can turn a wrench you can replace a clutch, the whole clutch kit is like $150 for most things shipped to your front door.

Your husband is awesome but imo the best way to teach people to drive stick trans is on 88-00 5spd civics. Their clutches are cheap and easy to replace.

The idiot poors in my state (AR) approved a pair of casinos, one is already built, named poorly, and is operational. I am looking forward to more used car availability in the future as the only bright spot of this development. I enjoyed watching them leave for MS.

That sucks man, I lucked out in November 2012 my local honda dealer in Little Rock got a 6spd 9th gen accord and I ambled up there in my 91 civic hatchback to test it. A year to the day later I arrived back with a check for $10,000.00 and a loan for the rest. They contracted a hotshot trucker to dealer trade a cvt one

There is an exception, some trucks have more than one battery, more than one alternator, and a high idle switch to have many hundreds of amps available at once. If you aren’t starting a very large engine with one of these you can light off your regular gas v8 or less instantly.
