You can do some nice overclocking on air but those heatsinks are huge, waterblocks are tiny. If you have tall RAM and a clusterfu**y motherboard with the DIMM slots too close to the cpu socket...or just too small of a case then it’s nice to be able to move the rest of the bulk represented by fans, radiator, and pump…
