“I will not be a smiling face on camera that tacitly endorses this decision.”

I really like the way he put this.

Now playing

Rush(the band to be clear) made this point well long ago.  “If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.”

Ah, there’s nothing we can do so we should just let it happen argument. That’s my favorite argument. Why outlaw murder? People will get murdered anyway. Why get out of bed tomorrow, we’re all going to end up in the cold hard ground.

Correct, yes, they should not be operating in China if China requires them to be complicit in totalitarianism.

Ultimately, everything is political. I forget who actually said it, but the aphorism that we do not have to take an interest in politics for politics to take an interest in us is absolutely true—and it’s of vital importance to the present situation.

More importantly, Acti-Blizz (and the NBA, and South Park) took a

I’m still laughing at the Kars4Kids jingle being the official song of the bad place.

I WATCHED THIS FUCKING TRAILER 20 TIMES ALREADY AND I KEEP FUCKING SCREAMING VERY LOUDLY. I NEED A GODDAMN LIFE ALERT

I know there is going to be a vocal group of complainers about the new content, but I am here for it 100%.  Also, and most importantly, HONEYBEE INN!?!

Same here. Soon as I saw that cover all the memories came rushing back. Those books and the “Classics Illustrated” were huge to me as a kid.

I realize in this political climate, there’s no possible way this film won’t be divisive, but all that aside, it looks so charming and absurd, like Moonrise Kingdom by way of In the Loop. I look forward to ignoring the conversation around it and just enjoying a new Waititi film.

I mean no. The game is carried because it's a fantastic game, and because it's on a major console. I've enjoyed this immensely more than Awakening. The story is good, the dialogue is great and the character personalities are fantastic. The gameplay itself is also lots of fun.

-Thanks for the excellent reviews, LaToya. You’re one of the best writers/reviewers AV Club has had. You enhance the experience of watching the show and I always learn something or see something from a different POV when I read the show reviews, which is something a good reviewer should do. To borrow something from

I keep thinking of this season as the one where the main focus is on the money people. Season One I always think of as the Director Season, where Sam had this vision of the flying woman in episode one, doodles her on a yellow pad somewhere in the middle, and finally gets the exact shot he wanted in the credits of the

Damn, if that’s what’s happened, that is as unprofessional a thing I’ve experienced here in over a decade. The few times I’ve seen them stop reviewing a series, they’ve at least announced it.

Did AV Club abandon ship on one of the best reviewed shows of the year so far? If so, that’s a bummer. The last two episodes of the season were some of the best TV I’ve seen. That last episode, that last scene...whooo, cathartic, heartbreaking perfection.
