I knew this would come out inevitably, the “we all think otherwise” quip as if anyone here is chiming in to support you and your inane theories.

Tesla released the Model S in 2012, which was my point re: decade. Secondly it is the US that has largely been far behind the rest of the world with their green initiative, hence why we’re still seeing Dodge Hellcats and V12s being built. As far as being big in EVs that is my entire point, the auto industry is clearly

LUSTED after this as a teen!

You must be fun at parties (all fully vaccinated with masks!).

Dude, did you think that when you finish a beer you can just hand it back over to the vendor for a refill?? This isn’t your buddy’s backyard BBQ.

They’re not for two very big reasons: They are unviewable if you are wearing polarized lenses, not to mention in poor driving conditions.

...you kinda asked for it with that bizarre claim.

Was this written in 2000?

I really have my doubts about that whole “robo-taxi Tesla making cars worth millions thing Musk sells”.

Let me ask you this, have you driven one? Not sat in a friend’s but like had one for a day or two to borrow from said ‘cult member’, lol?

We’ve been hearing this same argument though with Apple, first it was that “people in the know bought Macs”, while PC owners would respond “yeah, how’s that marketshare working for ya?”. Face forward 20 years and no matter what Samsung throws at them, people still view Apple products as superior “finished” products.

I think Musk’s ego won’t allow it, although I feel he may have underestimated the difficulty of bringing a vehicle to market and making updates/changes on the fly. There is a reason why Toyota’s assembly line is the stuff of legends.

This. After you’ve owned a Tesla you tend to be more critical about how other brand’s EV overcomplicate things in an effort to rush something to market to compete. Either they port over the chassis with no frunk, reutilize ICE dashes, doors, knobs, etc. nothing feels unique to set them apart and I can only assume they

0-60 in low 9s?

It was his and his families’ money that he invested into Tesla, wtf are you going on about? Tesla employee median salary is over $150k (avg. is $97k), but somehow Musk is the one getting rich off the backs of “poor Tesla employees”??

Not really, that would’ve started well over a decade ago, not to mention most won’t even commit to 100% EVs by 2050 if emissions was such a concern:

Ironic you’re trying to be “mature internet guy”, yet every single one of your arguments lacked anything remotely close to proof, and literally all of my responses had direct links refuting all of your claims that you simply handwaved away as irrelevant.

Awesome, I was looking for a slideshow...fuck’s sake.

Honestly, it’s like talking to a retard. I literally just provide a link from Car and Driver showing them both in top TEN, one of which outsold the Cayenne you fucking mutt! How the fuck can two cars be in the top ten ahead of NEWER models yet be “falling off a cliff”?! So I guess when the Mach-e has a decrease in

Say what you want about the guy, but he’s the very reason literally every auto manufacturer is sinking BILLIONS into EVs suddenly. Because it sure as shit wasn’t because of the “success” or tech of the GM Ev1, let alone Chevy’s Volt.
