I just looked at the configurator...I would be happy with one at $65k, only added option being the Z51 performance package.
If we’re not including title and license, or other bs dealer fees because no one ever really considers that when discussing what they paid for a car... Taxes will really only take it to 63k give or take your location. Though accurate none will be out the door for under $60k due to taxes, there will absolutely be C8's…
Yeah. I mean, other than the fact that it outperforms the Supra in every conceivable way, and doesn’t look like an FRS that had an allergic reaction to peanuts.
At first, there will be none, but that is because they aren't making 1LT's for the first allocations. There are more than a few people who just want the looks and are content with the base no option model of the C8, and there are plenty of dealers selling everything at msrp. I however am not one of them, I'm holding…
Yep, I’m one of those who became dis-interested in the Supra on July 18.
This is exactly me. I was excited for the Supra And had it on my list as my next car but man the C8 changed my mind. While I didn’t get a 2020 order in for the C8 it’s worth waiting for a 2021 over a Supra because it looks awesome.
Not everyone wants a Corvette, just as not everyone wants a Supra... But I can guarantee you more people wants the C8 than the Supra...
Damn straight. I guarantee that the $52,ooo and $53,000 models you see listed are just decoy ads. Call the dealers and they’ll tell you they’re on the lot—get there and they’ll have “just sold”—but we have another one over here—with “all the options you really want”—at $70K.
True, but R&T got the absolutely top spec that will be available at launch.
This is false. Fall, 2021 there will be $10k sitting on the hood of a $70k Corvette. And there will be $5 sitting on the hood of a $63k car.
I mean, the Cayman exists and isn’t trying to be something its not in anyone’s eyes. The C8 is new and exciting. The Supra is the sportscar version of the BMW Mini, which wasn’t anything the original Mini was.
I believe it may just be you.
This is a good take
Holy crap that’s the best looking C8 pic I’ve seen yet.
what happened at deadspin?
This place has been going down hill for years. I have been shadow banned more times than I can count.
Japanese styling. German reliability. They got it backwards.
It just takes one image, and the knowledge that it starts at under $60k to answer this question:
