Ah, thanks, I’ll make sure to tell my friend!

Doesn’t matter what industry, how people treat the people serving them reveals their true character. Some people are just dicks, clearly.
House is paid for, wife’s jeep is paid for, small loan on 32 foot fountain boat, and no credit card debt. sorry bud, your generalization didn’t work this time.
Fuck you asshat. Car dealerships were hiring in 08 after the baby boomers bankrupted the country and bush set us right into a nice recession. What was I supposed to do with my shinny new college degree? Not work? All the places youever ever gotten a car from laughed at you after you left cus your bullshit ass thought…
Then you aren’t very familiar with the Small Block Chevy architecture. It may pack a lot of displacement, but it is actually a very small engine, smaller even than the modern LS V8 decedents. No overhead cams means compact dimensions and a low center of gravity. That’s one of the biggest reasons why the SBC has been…
Except in this situation where California policy dictates national policy, so it’s a case of the rights of other states being infringed by California.
Low load floor.
Yeah right. California isn’t going to leave the union. It is just another cry for attention to remain relevant.
Kind of like Democrats under Obama right?
It’s still about the tires. Mu*g is your asymptote for acceleration. EVs can just get closer to it.
It’s easy to give a car enough power to hit 60 in 2 seconds. It’s tough to get enough of it to the ground. If they make a car that hits 60 in under 2 seconds, they will get all of the acclaim, when it is the tire manufacturer who would deserve the praise.
Agreed. In the mean time, that right there is the prettiest EV yet. Good job, Maserati.
None of us will ever shift faster than a dual clutch can, and why would you want to drive a fast car slow?
What you mean to say is that CarMax is making all of us pay more in order to compensate for their loss when they incurred with Doug’s Range Rover...
For the record, I am completely willing to take deer jerky as partial trade on any car I am selling.
You are spot on. The AVERAGE Carmax buyer is someone who is usually either timid, lazy, uninformed or short on time/patience (not always but one of these is usually a factor).
All of these groups are generally willing to pay more because
-They want it done and over with
-They don’t know any better and are unwilling (for…
Carmax buys from big auction houses just like everyone else. They really don’t have access to a magical higher tier of used cars than any other dealer. Up here in the Northeast, I’ve driven a few Carmax vehicles (mostly Explorers, larger SUV’s) and they all seemed clean on initial inspection, but a harder look…
Buying at Carmax in most (but not all) cases is for uninformed buyers that don’t want the hassle. There’s value in that. But they lowball the piss out of trade-ins and pull the same car salesmany shenanigans to try to explain to you why your car isn’t worth much.
