What if it's not company organized but company approved. Workers still organize on their own and the company works with the resulting structure without outside involvement.

I agree with your conclusion, but there actually could be a Works Council set up without the UAW. They certainly aren't the only labor organization in North America, and there is no reason why the UAW has to be the one that VW workers choose to represent them. Heck, they could design their own in Chattanooga, more…
The number of times I would shift from third to fifth...
Damn shame. Now waiting for the Ferrari jokes, which amazingly some people still find funny.
The Mercedes dealer down the street from the Dodge dealer I work for sends all the vans to us.
I'm a Southerner and my family has lived in the same rural area for over 200 years. If there is a symbol to show the pride of being Southern, the confederate flag isn't one of them. Plain and simple. You want to show pride? Feed people who aren't from the South BBQ, have them listen to bluegrass, blues, or country,…
Disclaimer: this poster is a Damn Yankee. Southerners will understand the distinction.
Ok, snobbish Yankee assholes, answer this question:
I didn't get this in in time, but here it is:
I hear that pipelines are more efficient at transporting oil than trucks. Someone should really think about building some.
Wonderful. As if the trucking industry didn't have enough regulations already.
Never had I seen a car copied back to front. Whoa.
UGH, control arms.
My favorite (because I saw it first, before Autoweek) is the Studebaker Lark Playwagon and the Bentley EXP F9.
The real problem with three cylinders and 'smoothness' is they are inherently unbalanced (very)
Why should I support dishonesty or phoniness simply because it happens to be American? That's a foolish approach to "progress", given that there is no way to tell whether any claimed progress is genuine.
Just posted the same thing. It is incredible that people let Tesla get away with this.....
Of course, if you point out their accounting shenanigans, you get accused of being a hater.. Frankly, I love the concept of their products, I think they've done a very good job with them, and I hope they become phenomenally…
Last night's TGUSA ending was like a Tesla Model S infomertial yet I remain unenthused. I look forward to the popping of this Tesla bubble. I mean I'm happy that they're providing an alternative to fossil fuels, but they're not a realistic alternative for most people. They're just a trend for the rich and priviledged.
I find it astonishing people still buy into electric cars being green... when it's not at all, in fact, it's just as bad, and sometimes worse, than driving a normal car.
Each kWh used by this, or any electric car being charged, is 1.341lbs of Co2... To put that in perspective...
Most electric cars are around 2.1 - 3.1…
