Amy Adams yo!!
she was terrific in that movie, really different work from her
the sexism is a result of the lack of talent
if they had just wrote the line as "she'll marry me anyway" then we probably wouldn't be talking about the sexism. That line gives the woman agency and desire to marry the guy, with or without dad's permission. as written, it becomes a contest between dad and the guy about who gets to make decisions for her.
Penny states that 17 is legal in NM in season 2. however it changes nothing
exactly. her non-response was very obviously the writer being like "right on,dude"
that was a really disgusting line, the kind only a middle-aged white man would write
I don't really see how Alison was a "bitch" aside from being a ruthless attorney
Purr-lock Holmes
I have a feeling she likes doing these movies because a) they pay well b) her kids could potentially enjoy them c) they're easy. Or maybe it's hard for her to get good work because well sexism

why is your taste in music relevant here?
Great article and exploration of this movie's family themes. I didn't care for the "this or that" tone. No need to pit this movie against Frozen just for the headline. Both are great but tell different stories in different ways
supporting Marvel, lady ghostbusters, and Clinton = shills duh!
my issue is more that actors playing teens is common enough that noting it about Roberts is odd
if the accusations of sexism don't apply to you, then clearly the article isn't talking about you. you don't need to defend yourself with a #notallmen. it's like going up to a POC and saying "I'm so tired of all these article about racism in America and that every cop who pulls over a black person is a racist."
I can think of seven uses for a cadaver…toDAYYYY
for me, I'd rather know than go through the whole speculation thing. sure, rejection hurts but it hurts less than that sinking feeling of "ohhh I just got rejected…"
