Yeah the autoplay thing is awful.  Just bad behavior, can be turned off in ten seconds by the site, and not a single visitor wants this to be the default behavior.

Haven’t watched the videos but if these are their first words of each, it probably says some interesting stuff about self-identification of people who grow up black or white in this country, maybe couching their ambitions in non-threatening terms.

I don’t understand the love for Tom Petty. He’s.. fine. I know a bunch of his songs because they’ve always been on the radio, and they’re fine. They sound comfortable as an old leather jacket, but it’s a Members Only jacket and you really don’t love it but it’s always just been there.

And to be clear, my issue is with auto-playing videos with sound, a complete annoyance.  The profanity thing is just icing.

I know, surprises me too. I think it’s the idea of the things we tell them they can’t do vs what grownups do. But we have conversations like this: “Fuck!” “Dad that’s not OK.” “But I stubbed my toe pretty hard.” “Stubbing your toe isn’t enough for that word. Maybe if it’s broken.”

People may differ on whether Montana or Brady is the GOAT but it’s not even close when it comes to acting chops.  Montana by a mile.
