Well when someone says “Tell that bitch to sit down!” It kinda obvious that he’s singling her out because she’s a Black woman. The comments on this post baffle me. I’d be ashamed to have to write for these whiny dipshit misogynoirists in the comment section.

hah fair enough...thanks for sharing...sorry to make you relive that

jesus christ how would you even begin to clean that up?

I can’t tell if this is a poor attempt at sarcasm or extreme loneliness sprinkled with a dash of desperation

Maybe I just haven’t read through the comment section as thoroughly as you have but my critique is very clearly an anti-capitalist one. And I very rarely see anti-capitalist critiques of the feminist movement and society in general on here. I also don’t count posts against Spon Con, Materialism, and Elitism as

“i see discussions here all the time about the kardashians and how wrong it is that kim calls what she does (cash in on patriarchal standards of beauty as well as blatant materialism/consumerism) feminist.”

Hah clearly not. I just don’t get why folks in sex work are singled out for their complicity in exploitative systems or why their complicity is any worse than ours...i just don’t see sex work as uniquely anti- or not- feminist...this site worships rich white celebrities that generally fall into a similar looks/body

like my previous comment that vanished out of thin air hah

“And clearly I don’t censor the comments that don’t “cater to my ideas” because you’re still here, and I’m responding to you.”

Thanks, I try.

Really Root writers.....not even my response to a pre-approved post is approved now....lol grow up ya’ll...if you can’t take a Black leftist, anti-statist critique on educational reform from someone’s who’s a fairly active member of your small (at least in comparison to Deadspin and Jez) community you may need to find

Really...maybe you should pitch an article or post to some of the bloggers here going into more detail...i’d read it

OOO haha you guys took my posting privileges away...great response to criticism folks

Like the Harlem Children’s Zone is great but not a realistic or repeatable model for educational reform. I like the whole promote Black excellence thing but not if the paths that lead to excellence are resource intensive as welll as few and far between

Maybe Ron Clark’s Academy really is doing something transformational but with quotes like these:

ehh that might have been a little too much....I just question the wisdom behind promoting some of these academies

Are you asking me or telling me? I mean this:
