mapmyrun is much more fully featured than runkeeper both in app and on the web.

How can anyone honestly hate spotify?? It's free, the audio quality of all of the songs are the same, unlike grooveshark, and you can use it when you don't have an internet connection with premium. And on your iPhone. The iPhone app will even play the songs you have loaded on your phone along with your spotify

@KamWrex: Good point, but I'd rather the end benefit be me with more money in my pocket. Putting up with being $400 poorer for a while so that I end up saving my money in the end is the better deal to me. And congrats on living in a place where $400 is rent. Hell, man, the lowest I've ever paid is $600 and that was

@ArleenCabango: Another good point, but this is where a lot of people miss out on another good deal. I used to stand outside the used book stand at the University bookstore waiting for people to find out their books aren't being used again or have been updated and so they're going to throw them away, then I'd turn

@TraderCoz: Absolutely right. Better to pay for it once than to pay for it twice.

@skaaredd: The fine print specifically says you need to be enrolled in classes in the USA, but good for you.

I use the option key most often to create the funny Swedish characters that I need so often:

This applies to USA students only. International students (like me) need not apply. :(

I've used all of these. Mint, hands down, is the winner.

I always thought about renting text books, but then figured that I make out better in the end if I buy them used and then sell them used online after. I usually only spend about $10 per $100 worth of books with this method.

@orbitbreak: no it doesn't scan. Also, it's not a store. Listen to any music unlimited times for free. The choice of songs is impressive, though it doesn't always have the song I'm looking for. Its likely you'd be able to find 100 out of 130 gigs of your music.

Basic writing. I had a bad day and tested into it in college, but I stuck with it anyway and I'm glad I did. Refreshing my writing and grammar skills have made me into a writer that gets noticed by my colleagues and affords me placement on special projects.

any mac equivalent?

@SeoulDan: How is it not outlining? It's not any worse than pen and paper...

@flatlanderdox: any way you want to. subject/topic in school, work, or home. Each new note could be the chapter of a book all under the tag of of that book. Same with classes, lectures, etc. Loving the idea of taking photos of handwritten notes.

I'm in Sweden and seeing the app.

@Platypus Man: Ug this is my biggest grammar pet peeve!!!!
