Am I the only one among the regular movie-viewing public who found the dialogue in Only Lovers Left Alive to be kind of trite? I could not follow through watching the whole thing. I like Jarmusch's ideas and some of his other films, and really wanted to like this one, but I just couldn't buy into it.

Hail felt like a film the Coens would be predicted to make, it often seemed really forced and lacked their usual light touch. Rather felt like a film a fan of the Coens would make in an act of veneration. Though Alden Ehrenreich was fun to watch.
