So, despite the seeming sincerity of their statement regarding the respectfulness with which Cooper approached the role, and their being okay with the nose... you’re implying thst Bernstein’s estate (i.e., his children,) only care about money, and would permit a mockery of their father, for the money.

This person cannot be making an ingenuous argument here.

“His kids aren’t impartial!”

Nor should they be, but they have no reason to be partial to Bradley Cooper at the expense of being partial to their own father!

“They’re not impartial because money!”

O....kay? If anyone ever makes a movie about my father, I hope they

More nose = more money! C’mon!

The detour will add between an hour to two hours to trips over the Alps

Passenger trains will now take a “panorama” detour to use SBB’s words. The detour will add between an hour to two hours to trips over the Alps and require most passengers to switch trains to complete their journey. Hopefully, the scenic route isn’t the only route for too long in 2024.

Okay, who put a penny on the line down there?

It’s no goblin at Gringott’s bank, so I give them some grace.

I don’t get why the author is trying to call into doubt whether or not Sandra Bullock knew about this situation. How would she know? She was given a script, and probably met the woman she pretended to be a few times in controlled situations where that woman would have been pretending to be great.

It is absolutely not an exaggeration to say she had nothing to do with this.  She got a script, was given a role, and performed it well.  Why assume otherwise without a shred of evidence?  What exactly did you learn as a student of journalism?

Exactly. Equality at home and both parents actually parenting equally is for woke communists.

These are conservatives we’re talking about. They love trad gender roles, and those don’t include fathers actually raising their kids.

So he’ll only pick up his kids from school if his wife literally has cancer?

Good question. I was more stuck on what “picking them up with love” entailed. He was compassionate enough to slow down to 5 mph so they had a decent chance to jump in?

They probably think this will play well with the Republican crowd, where the only thing a husband is supposed to do with their kids is shout at them for hanging out with those people or arranging cash for a brief trip to Mexico for some slut who his son trapped in a room at a party.

Everything got worse after *Mom's friend Ron* moved in...

I would just like to know how one picks up a child from school “with humility.” Also, at least Pratt’s comment was presented in the spirit of ironic self-awareness, like, I don’t think he was actually expecting a pat on the back for opening pickle jars.

I was prepared to roll my eyes at this story, but yeah, this is monumentally pathetic. The “my kids” jumped out at me, too. I feel like we should all agree picking up the kids, regardless of a spouse’s/co-parent’s health, is truly bare minimum parental responsibility stuff. I’d imagine that was the extent of Ron’s

The only bright spot with him is that he is polling so low that he will probably not get the nomination.

Maybe you prefer a time when trans people (and so many others) kept it to themselves and then just committed suicide eventually, or at best lived an isolated, lonely life where they weren’t allowed to acknowledge fundamental things about themselves. Not all of us feel that way.

A luxury.
