So the surprise twist is “Abused women are actually lying, manipulative psychos”? This is exactly the take I would have expected from Levinson and The Weeknd.

It’s hilarious that someone as absolutely disgusting as Lindsey Graham is getting publicly booed.

He has occasionally shown flashes of humanity and rationality, for example after Jan. 6, and MAGA world won’t tolerate it.

Who could have guessed that commoditizing hatred would produce uncivil discourse, and a cult of personality?!?!

That’s the weird thing about them. Miss SC pretty much has bent over backwards trying to please Trumpsters and it’s not enough. They want him to humiliate himself more than he has. They’re broken and follow blindly and they want him to do the same. A lot of projection with them and their ilk.

Graham (after the 2020 election) said two things: 1) If there really is rampant election fraud, show me ten proven examples and I’ll join your protests, otherwise the winner should be inaugurated according to The US Constitution; and 2) the people who stormed the Capitol on Jan 6th are criminals and they should be

Eh, deserving, but after the MAGA crowd put heat on him after Jan 6th, I suspect he’ll be popping up hard with his teary show in the media, trying to win them back.

Agreed. It would at least be more interesting. Although I have to admit that I was intrigued by a Richie/Chef Jess hookup when he was staging at Ever.

i dont know if theres anything there but it would definitely be more interesting.

Exactly. I honestly have no idea where anyone gets the idea that there is a slow-burn going on there. I watched the clip in the embedded tweet about the editors wanting to suggest there’s a spark there and I don’t see that at all. Plus, I think Syd is clear-eyed enough about Carmy to see all the ways that homeboy is

I find this to be a disappointingly reductive take on the Carmy/Sid chemistry; they’re both too committed to their work and too smart to fall into the, “Oh, this is a workplace romance!” bit. They already have a partnership, and the restaurant is their baby. They wouldn’t do anything intentionally to harm it.

She wants the star, and as Carmy said, there’s no room for anything else other than work if you want a star.

Agreed that there is ZERO chemistry between them. Can’t we just normalize that people can have working relationships with each other that can bleed over into personal and it never has to go romantic? I think it is evident with Syd’s relationship with Marcus that she is very much in the camp of don’t shit where you

I just finished the season and I gotta say, I don’t see it. I don’t see Syd/Carmy chemistry at all. That scene underneath the table is compelling because both characters are being vulnerable, but not in a way that induces any sort of sexual tension. But I will admit that I find “ship” culture to be completely

Carm and Sydney? Why? Do all people who work closely like this have to couple up? Ugh.  Please, no!

I’ll add Cool World, Hackers (which had so much great music they had to make THREE soundtracks), and Tomb Raider.

I think bad movies/shows with good soundtracks should be their own genre.

Ah, the old (ye olde?) hysteria excuse- guys have been using this since ancient times!!! In the 19th century it was a bona-fide medical condition!

I met my husband on OkCupid too and SAME. I was surprised it wasn’t mentioned on here. Are we that old? It was only a decade ago.

Internet dating sounds like a job. I think I will stick to my cottage on the edge of the woods.
