You were trying to return stuff directly to the person who lost it - she had the option to turn it in to an office (or whatever their procedures are) which would have relieved her of any responsibility for it.

Nah, I thought of that - she may have left it in there to see if anyone came asking about it. If she brought it home, it would have been obvious that she stole it. If she left it in another place, it’s possible someone could have taken it to the office and the money would be gone.
No but it hasn’t been reported that she did, thus commenting about why that hasn’t been made public if people are so gung-ho about defending her.
Just as a theory - I don’t know of course - she may have left it in there to see if anyone came asking about it. If she brought it home, it would have been obvious that she stole it. If she left it in another place, it’s possible someone could have taken it to the office and the money would be gone.
What motivated me? There’s a lot of righteous indignation but some clear weirdness in the story that isn’t being acknowledged.
I didn’t miss it - USC doesn’t close down completely during Spring Break. I live near there and there were students galore coming in and out of campus at the time.
It’s possible but wouldn’t that be pertinent information to share as to why the campus staff and students think it’s weird she got arrested? Why isn’t anyone saying that outright? “It was spring break there was no one there, she was off at the time and put it somewhere safe.”
While the LAPD definitely oversteps on the regular, this situation is a little more murky than people are making it out to be.
It’s not the style of communication, it’s the content that worries me.
I really hope she’s seeing a therapist or psychologist or something because coming out of that conservatorship and suddenly having to take care of herself after all these years has to be jarring. Her posts as of late are a bit...odd?
I agree. I think the best outcome would have been for Will to quietly dip out and apologize to Chris later. But he didn’t and if the Academy had had security come and force him out...heaven help them.
Lol tried to sound cool and got sent to the principal’s office.
But she should also acknowledge that she perhaps shouldn’t have made light of it and said it doesn’t bother her all over social media as well instead of lying about how much it affects her.
We’ll have to agree to disagree then. I think you would be well justified in being hurt and disgusted by someone making fun of you for being fat even if you choose to make fun of yourself for it.
Exactly - she drew the line at making fun of herself for a personal issue. That doesn’t mean the world has carte blanche to poke fun at her autoimmune disease any time they’d like.
It’s one thing to make fun of yourself when you’re in the right headspace for it and entirely another when someone else makes fun of you in front of the entire world.
It’s probably the truth. The show must go on in that business. 🤷🏾♀️
claiming everyone (who, though?) has been asking him to weigh in on the issue.
Green>White Men>White Women>Minority Men>Minority Women
That was far worse than I thought it was going to be, jesus christ on a cracker. Who even calls themselves their child’s boyfriend? Even in bizarro world jest? What the actual fuck?
