there are plenty of large group encounters in turn based games and that is where the speed stats come into play. you can have more turns before they do for example. OG sin uses action points to allow your turns to be more meaningful, and of course CC is king to handle larger encounters. that doctor fight i referenced…

OG sin 2 had some of this. of course never to the level of imagination. failing a check and altering the story line is a thing in OG sin, especially if you don’t save scum, even more so in co op if you pick and do what you want instead of deciding everything as a group.
