That FFXI stuff hits home for me. my friends and I still talk about those days (including the Jueno run). FFXI i think will always be my favorite MMO probably because it was my first and like you said there was something special about progressing in that game.

most of this sounds great but the one thing i will have to disagree with is the mobs aggro-ing. That is what i hated about the newest expansion. no matter where you go and when you are going to train mobs and get dismounted and shit like crazy.

I loved me some diddy kong racing back in the day. I think it was the single player campaign with all the stuff to do. felt kind of like a good mix between mario kart and all the platformers that were dominating at the time
