Speaking as someone who recently bought a new car, I went to CarMax because they made it easy for me and their price for the car I was looking at was comparable to anything else I found. Trying to find a specific model on the internet was nightmare fuel, so many half-assed jokers out there it’s not funny.

I paid $700 less for a similar vintage VW TDI, nice price all day. Budget another $4k to get it mechanically sorted and have a fun little weekend convertible for less than 10 grand.

DC resident here. My wife (a teacher) got caught in this bullshit yesterday afternoon while bringing our youngest home from basketball. Thanks dude, that was very kind! Yeah, it’s all good. I got a Regal TourX and I’ve never been happier with a new (to me) car. It’s fabulous and Buick is very, very dumb to have stopped selling these after 3 years of no marketing support.
