Valdivia is a decent sized city (~90k) but we didn’t know that’s what we should be looking for. We ate a ton of sushi and other seafood while we were there and were also introduced the wonder that is “malaya.”

Where do you go in Chile to visit, Santiago?  I lived in Valdivia (way south) for 6 months a few years ago and there was no Peruvian food to be found there.

We simply like the idea of a day of gratitude and a family meal together. At the start of the meal we go around the table and everyone says what they are grateful for.
