I’ll restate the question..

I think the skit of Schumer trivialized and minimized the very serious issue of rape into a series of stereotypes to appeal primarily the bigotries of her audience.

No, it was whether Schumer would make a comedy skit about nazis gassing jews.

Early in the skit they mentioned Galveston.

I made a statement about being offended by the skit and was immediately set upon. I’ve been looking for a reasonable person to discuss this with, maybe you’re the one.

I see. So a comedy skit about the nazi soldiers who pumped the gas into the ovens would be funny as long as it didn’t reference the jews roasting on the inside?

Schumer the writers and producers could have placed this skit anywhere in the US...including a non descript, non named town in a non named state. They specifically placed it in the south, in texas and in a small town. They even had the stupid accents.
