Some people in AA would object to a) Eden violating the 2nd part of the 11th tradition “...we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio and films.” This is so no one assumes a member speaks for AA. Also, if a person is “publicly” sober and slips, they might be less likely to seek help.

Why do they need to know a wardrobe designers age? Or a writer? Or director?

It’s already illegal, and they do it anyway.

Ageism in Hollywood is especially bad. Studios and people who hire only use IMDb when they want to see your credits, then they see your age. And yes, they do discriminate.

No. it doesn’t. Not for everyone anyway.

I am always mildly sore. I work out 4x a week... at least 3... and I’m still waiting to get good at certain things. I’ve given up on liking or wanting to exercise. It’s been years. Also, I’m old ish. Pretty sure I’m genetically pre disposed to hating it and being bad at it...though I can sing with no effort and

They. Don’t. Care.

Toxic misogyny will be the ruin of the world. (Women can also have it).

Okay but she was the good witch, which is like fairy or angel and her cousin Serena was the bad one.

Are women and POC the only fucking people in the Democratic Party who are going to fight every fucking battle? (And by that I don’t mean white leftists standing off to the side criticizing everything).

I agree with you, I’m in the greys anyway, and I’ll go further to say snarky nit picky take downs of women’s efforts and accomplishments (before they’re even released) by women are a reason why more things aren’t made by women and also why we have Trump now.

I tried pitching in this area pre election and was told “it feels poor. They don’t like poor people.” Yikes.

Duh. Everyone knows brunettes are witches and blondes are angels or fairies.

Totally agree with you. Whining and pouting seem to work fantastically for the right wing. I’m great at whining and pouting, so I’m gonna do that.

She is an icon to me because of her writing, specifically Postcards From The Edge. Princess Leia isn’t nearly as interesting as she is. Seeing that movie changed my life.

I mean, 15 isn’t a man.

Yes and all the bullshit they do takes so much work! Being an asshole 24/7 for no reason makes Negan tedious. I hate him, and not like I love to hate him. I hate to hate him.

I love The Walking Dead, and sci fi in general. But Negan sucks. The performance and writing of that character is one note. What I like about the show is different people coming together, forming relationships and doing things they never thought they could. It’s fine if they have obstacles, but I don’t understand

I’d recommend putting in a fake name and an email account you don’t look at that much... just to be safe.

I think people have to meet up in order to form plans of action.
