I think most everyone is missing the obvious point here. Erik Heck has been using the same single lens for 16 years. everyone obsesses about having a full array of glass and those same folks will more often then not have 1-2 go to lenses and they wont know how to effectively use the rest.

isn't this EXACTLY what happened in the american dustbowl? there was a drought instead of water mismanagement and both scenarios are dealing with improper agricultural practices, these are identical scenarios.
