Counterpoint:

Looks like Bogus Journey is on Prime, and the original is on Starz or DirecTV.

It’s possible this is partially a failure of marketing? I browse Gawker sites a few times a day, I go to the movies maybe 6 times a year, I’m on some social media, I consume a LOT of media... and I don’t think I’d heard they were making a Charlie’s Angels movie.

I’ll do it.

WITNESS!!!!!!

That makeup. She will ride to Valhalla on the Fury Road, shiny and chrome!

Now playing

“I’m not going to be a part of this culture that can become very negative,” Brady said. He added, “Somebody took the nickels out of my DANG LOCKER. You hear what I said? Every one of you guys is now a suspect.”

Oh man, I wanted to like XCOM 2 so so so so so much. Hell, I played through the first one twice. But man, this was every encounter in 2 for me: “Okay, there are some enemies. I guess I’ll get behind cover... Will this cover protect me? It’s not exactly between me and the enemy, because it’s at like a 60-degree angle

Good call. And extra points for Flavor-Aid.

Maybe he’s saying we could kill 10 million people by dropping inert bombs out and just having them land on peoples’ heads? We probably have 10 million bombs. It’s the aiming we need to worry about.

Novelty is great, but familiarity can be too. That’s why I like listening to albums more than once, re-watching movies, and playing chess or poker: I know what I’m getting, and I know it’s fantastic. More Borderlands 2 is exactly what I wanted, and it seems from my few hours so far that that’s what they delivered,

Counterpoint: solo play is way better. I have about 1000 hours in BL2, all solo. I played maybe 10 hours with friends and it wasn’t as fun for me. So, different strokes.

Well I beat BL2 with all 6 classes, most of them multiple times. I fired it up again a few months ago, but couldn’t face run #14 or whatever (not because the game isn’t great it is — but it’s less fun when you know where everything is and can run it in your sleep). I guess 1000 hours is enough. So now, HELL YES I

My 10-year-old recently had DARE in her classroom. I had no idea it was still going. They gave all the kids shirts, and the design is the DARE logo and the mascot (a lion, I think?) — standing in front of the Blue Lives Matter flag.

All I can think is Kotaku did another photoshop challenge where you’re supposed to put Sam Fisher in funny places.

in a Pride month besieged by corporate greed nonetheless

The outrage is not that they cast a black actor when the original character was white. The outrage is that REAL-LIFE MERMAIDS ARE WHITE. This would be like casting black actors to play unicorns (which are Latinx), dragons (also Latinx), or a pegasus (Asian).

Fixed the headline for you:
