I was born in ‘77 and I agree. The ‘60s were amazing.
I’ll take the period from 1964-1974 for the win! Yes those 30's cars are great but, the common man could own a benchmark auto in my period of history.
That reminds me of Larry on “Restoration Garage.” He does that a lot on that show, and I wish that he had his own show where he’d just do whatever he wants to do with cool old cars.
I’m 42 and I like the 60's best because they’re at the crest of “analog” cars, before they were crippled by emissions standards, mileage requirements, crash test standards, and complicated electronics. That was when cars were cars.
I’d say 90's (I’m 20) because you had plenty of hp from both domestics and imports and cars didn’t have the nannies they do now, granted it wasn’t a golden era for styling but for affordable performance it was. Plus 4 wheel disc brakes and IRS was very common.
(18) and 50's and 60's are where its at for me.
I’m 30 and my answer is a split between 60's and 70's. I’m not wild about a lot of early 60s cars, but after 73-74 I don’t like 70's cars either.
Not always(15)! For me it would be 65-75, so I would say 70s.
That divorced transfer case....so neat. Bet you wish you would've kept it too, judging by what nice highboys are going for these days.
Oh good, I hoped someone would start this game. Had a 60, 97, 95, 59, 96, and ‘00 (although that was an F250). The ‘60 was the dearest with its original 223 and 3 speed and family lineage.
Aww, you skipped my favorite generation—the “bullnose” seventh gen (‘80-‘86).
This is a terrible question.
Republican party to Trump: “please remove your gaping maw from our dog whistle. You’re getting spittle on it."
My Saturn Yellow ‘74 had original documents in the glove box from a dealer in Maryland. And I’m in Virginia; it’s been in this area its whole life. Early model year 2.0 with ‘73 gauges and brown interior.
If your uncle lived in Maryland, I might have his car in my garage...
Look at all these lovely Ram SRT-10's for sale for well under this pinhead’s asking price.
There’s nothing libertarian about crony deals with government.
