They’re real. Chrome alloy.
They’re real. Chrome alloy.
Cross-shopped? Who the hell cross shops? You sound like my wife, “But honey, we need to compare the Nissan to the Honda”. That’s just embarrassing; no wonder you don’t understand the truck thing. But don’t take it too hard, not everyone is a car guy.
It’s so sad that this even needs to be explained to Jalopnik readers; America is just not what it used to be.
Ridglines are to trucks, as minivans are to SUVs. Sure, the Ridgeline can carry cargo in an open bed, but it will never, ever be a truck. Like some minivans are sporty and utility, but they are not SUV’s. And if I have to explain beyond that, you wouldn’t understand.
It’s a Honda Ridgeline, not a pickup.
My old F-150, (2011) would never remember my previous selection, so every time I got in the truck and wanted to listen to music on my phone I had to say, “Bluetooth Audio”. It drove me insane. I must have said it 5000 times.
Cool but lame. I was picturing sitting in a bar, the car would pull up, text you to get your ass out here, and then drive you home, (like my wife.)
You know this is not a real Cobra, right?
I new it. It’s even a convertible, pretty much exactly the car I expected you to drive. Now that’s funny...
You can’t be serious? Laugh at it? In my world it would draw a drooling crowd wherever it went. If you are laughing at this you are not a real car guy. Let me guess, you drive a Miata? Or a 3 Series Bmw? Haha, now I’m laughing at you.
This is about price. Under $20K for a running, driving Cobra kit car is a Nice Price. Period. It comes down to, “If you see one at a better price, buy it”. You won’t. And for the record, the 383 is an awesome motor.
The video dude just drove away? You sure this isn’t in America?
VW built buses from 1949 to 1967; everything else is a van.
For $25K it would have to be pristine, and have $10K in cash under the seat. CP.
I wouldn’t really care. We give Boeing billions in tax breaks, their environmental record here sucks, and although we’d miss the 80K jobs, no one would miss the whiny, overpaid employees and their ‘better-than-tho’ attitudes. I’ll take the new influx of young, high-tech workers over Boeings low-tech workers any day.…
As a lifelong Seattleite I refuse to watch Boeing build anything in St Louis.
I don’t have a racecar but I pulled a 100 gallon fuel tank out of the bowels of an old boat and someone had written underneath, “That was a chore, wasn’t it?”
Here’s one for $8900
