A person with substantial debt and bad credit should not be buying a new car. Find something cheap with 70K miles or less, and then over the next 4 years, and before the car needs any major repairs, fix your damn credit! That, or take the bus.

I’ve been looking, (casually) for CJ5 or CJ7 and for its condition, (rebuilt engine, new wiring, new paint etc) this is most definitely a NP.
I love that quote. Late night, warm summer night rides around NY are the best. I lived on W4th between 11th & 12th, and no one ever messed with my bike. I suppose it was a bit of a roach (‘75 R60) but this was in the mid/late 80’s when people would steal your mother if they could trade her for crack.
