I don’t know if they need to. It’s rough around the edges on consoles, certainly. But the PC version holds up incredibly well.
I can imagine that over the course of time, because gods know I’ve put obscene amounts of money into my hobbies/interests/comforts over the years (and so, I suspect, has most of Kotaku, if you all check your Steam libraries...), and everyone’s got their own thing that cranks their motor.

Check out Erika Lust’s films.
If you want something that isn’t brutalization, look up X-art, or Nubile Films. They’re on the classier, well-lit, end of the spectrum.
Have you tried some of the straight porn that’s written, directed, and produced by women? It’s got a very different approach and is less jackhammer/choking/etc.
I bet you if you look hard enough you will end up finding that Autumn leaves has similarities to some other story before it.
I can’t believe they would steal from a guy who created completely unique and original idea of a bunch of robots with crazy personalities, a man trapped alone in a library, themes of AI, noire detective elements........
