I feel for Francis, I really do. Both of her parents are and were incredibly flawed human beings, and while great artists, they hardly took the parenting issue seriously. Francis might be rich, but money will never take the place of having a functional family.

I know someone who worked for AA. As part of their "audition" process, they photograph applicants. My guess is that those eyebrows belong to an applicant who didn't make the "audition." Dov is an asshole.

@thePrototype: I teach in California and I have never had to sign any kind of clause like the one that you describe. That seems incredibly intrusive.

When I first read about this in the news, I didn't know the race of the victims, though I did guess that like other serial killers who went undetected for a long period of time, he probably chose the perfect victims: the indigent, the non-white, and the disenfranchised. What makes Sowell's case particularly

I miss food, I really, really do. I caught some variation of a virus that has been going around and I've been having stomach "disruptions" since Monday. I have subsisted off of boiled rice water, bananas, and plain toast for the last five days. On the plus side, I've lost about five pounds. I'd rather eat the

He's TOTALLY faking it.

@Bgirl_Hamster: Ooooh, this drives me insane! I wouldn't mind the check-writers so much if they fill out the name of store, date, and sign it while standing in line so all they have to do is fill in the amount after they're rung up, but most of the time, they don't. Even worse, they start balancing their fucking

@intime: Maybe she doesn't have the 5+ thousand dollars braces cost to fix her teeth? I know I don't.

Are they flashing crotch to detract our attention away from the fact that every.single.one of these fashion atrocities is fugly? That pink unitard is the color of crotch rash and particularly heinous.

Her mother is repulsive and she is trying to mold her daughter into an image that she desires, regardless of what her daughter really wants. At this point, Tootie/Madison thinks that she wants this life, but later on, she may change her mind.

She looks almost exactly looks like my cousin, except my cousin doesn't suffer from a mad case of self-loathing. Someone mentioned Dave Chapelle earlier. Malkin reminds me of Chapelle's blind black leader of the KKK ranting on and on about the blacks without being aware that he's black himself.

The only time I ever enjoyed reading about Sookie having sex was when she had sex with someone other than Bill. I don't want to get spoilery here, but it is hot and I hope they do that scene justice.

I especially love the drunken presentation.

Maybe she shies away from the term because she hasn't a clue what feminism means? As teenypanini mentioned way up in the comments, the definition of feminism has evolved to include that women have a right to choose whatever path they want to take in life, that women have a say in their society, and more importantly,

I've read most of the series and I know that I have said this before, but I'm glad that they've taken some leeway with the characters (Lafayette, Jessica), though I wish that they would have nixed Harris's standard romance plot bullshit (Sookie, Bill).

Can I just reiterate how glad I am that the writers decided to deviate from the books? I love what they have done with Lafayette, Jessica, and Tara. On the downside, I don't know how much longer I can stand watching Suckey and Bill; they bore the crap out of me now.
