So not surprised. This is just the same old shit that happens everywhere, although this is a particularly egregious example.

@stalking_goat: If they have any sense, they'll stay the fuck away from Comic-Con, or any place where Buffy fans congregate.

TOO SOON, people.

@AlphaJarmel: That's why everyone loves Buffy, dude. She's one of the best, most fully fleshed out female protagonists EVER. If you don't have anything inherently against depictions of three-dimensional female characters, then you really should give the Buff a chance.

Whoa MoGlo, you seem kind of pissed off today! Here, have some candy.

@tammygarrison: I'm Indian, I don't think I'll ever really break away from my family. Sigh.

@tammygarrison: I'm 22, I'm barely a grown-up, plus, I like my dad.

That Extras clip was when I stopped worrying and learned to love Daniel Radcliffe.

... yeah, but what if your family is so good at bringing the guilt-trip that staying away will actually do you more harm than going?

@go out and love someone: What happened to you is fucked up, but I think that someone can consent to having sex while intoxicated. There's a big difference between someone who is kind of drunk but still in control of their facilities and someone who is blackout drunk/can't function at all drunk.

Dammit, I just got in to this show.

Wait.... will be "concluded in the fall"??

A few weeks ago on The Daily Show, Gov. Rick Perry argued that Texas jobs weren't at risk for outsourcing, because, and I quote, "would you rather live in Texas, or in India?"

@Jesse Astle: Ok, that was awesome. How was that not awesome? A blow job joke in a kid's show! C'mon, if it happened in Sesame Street, you'd all be applauding.

@NoelleBlue: Definitely have the same tastes as you. Don't understand why io9ers always list Fear Her as the worst episode, when Daleks in Manhattan made us want to cry, it was so bad.

@Bruce Wood: You joking? Love and Monsters is one of my favorite episodes! Its so clever, and I love the break from the standard story-telling narrative.

This is the most fucking heartwarming thing I have ever seen. I'm going to call my grandma right now to tell her I love her, but I don't think I can top this.

Still grappling with the fact that hamsters can get depressed.
