I wouldn’t expect the V8 to increase the towing capacity. There are chassis limitations that a bigger engine doesn’t address.

As opposed to the mountains of green Jeep has been printing for years?  Nahh.

This is actually a great idea for anyone considering using a Gladiator for towing (like me). I know the V6 has a 7000lb tow rating, but at 260lb-ft, hills will not be your friend. You could technically do it, but folks behind you might mind.

Seriously Jeep? Allow Ford to have a little thunder, before they wipe your face with wads of cash the Bronco will be hauling in.

it’s just a $2000 motorcycle. Nothing about what’s done to it makes it worth any more than than what it is.

I have zero desire for any car where I have to fuck around with putting physical keys in locks. I have my Luddite tendencies when it comes to cars, but keys are very much not one of them. I have touch code locks on my HOUSES too. Physical keys are relics of bygone days.

So, it is a nicely designed, mobile nursing home. Spotify integration is nice, I guess old farts still dig Glenn Miller and no need for vinyl or CDs.

And a homely one at that .

A competition is a competition.  The medium used doesn't matter, if it was a competition amongst sportsman, it's not "just a game"

Its the fact that it far exceeded his previous performances. If i normally raced down in the 15-20th spot and suddenly am up to top 5 that would be suspicious. Just to clarify idk where he was racing previously just making an example

I’d like to see auto lenders get more creative with creating win-wins for lessees in a good position. I like my lease - but won’t be driving it for the next 6 months given that my employer has already told us to expect to WFH for the rest of the year.

A good number of the ones I rode in were rented from “buy here pay here” lots on a daily basis.  I have doubts that this plan payed off for the driver.

All those miled-up UBER rides will be hitting the repo lots soon, eh?

Yes Elon, throw away millions of dollars you invested in a factory in order to spite California for *checks notes* taking a deadly global pandemic seriously.  That’ll really own the libs and keep the investors happy!

That energy has to go somewhere. Better to push the vehicle up and on the side than into the passenger compartment.

I had never driven a jeep and always liked the look/idea of them. I worked at Enterprise part time during school and we had one Wrangler that I eventually had a chance to drive. Could not believe how shitty an experience that was and it immediately killed any desire to own one.

PC, Ulta settings.

The issue is that the middle seat passenger now has a straight shot at the window and aisle passengers in the following row. They aren’t directly in front of you, but they would absolutely be line-of-sight.

Will never happen. My Father in Law is a now retired 747 pilot, flight engineer (back when planes still had the 3rd seat), and aircraft mechanic. He said, they (I use they, because I can’t remember which airline he said) experimented with rearward facing seats in 70s or 80s because they thought that rapid deceleration

How exactly, does facing one another prevent the spread of aerosol particles?? This seems worse to me. Not of mention the prospect of having a stranger stare at you for 4 hours. Nope.
