Totally get that I have to pay for fuel (electrons or dinosaurs) And I get the problems with the Tesla system- it’s still super early and not anywhere near perfect. But it’s what exists now so the question is, is the Bolt compatible with that system? If not, it’s still a car supplement.

It would take 60 hours to charge from a completely depleted battery. 1000 watts equals 1 kilowatt and the bolt has 60 kilowatt hour pack

well that’s a dumb stupid life decision to make.

How do you know if a car buyer is lost?

Had Joe not done it so publicly, flaunting it in VW’s face, this wouldn’t have happened.

Well, until the Judge officially amends the Consent Decree then VW legally has to accept the car by the word of the buyback. There is no “spirit” of a directly written legal document in this case, it’s not the constitution and is not a living document

Calling out reporters for bad press? I thought they were running a car company, not for President.

I guess it depends on how they define operable. its currently not legal to drive like that so it would be easy to argue that it is not an operable vehicle.

This has to be the last straw right? Top Gear can die now?

0-60 was so cool when I was 16....not so much anymore.

it is officially known on the web now as f8 of the furious or F8F (looks close to F&F no?)...

You get what you pay for when you put a universal $20 rack on your $20,000 car.

Until the tank is punctured, at which point the liquid immediately and explosively vaporizes into a gas.

I believe the driver would be an asshole because assholes shit on everything but as we know dicks fuck assholes too!

I wouldn’t excuse the driver, either. He’s a dick. They’re both dicks. Everyone’s a dick.

But honestly, once you take a ‘salvage car’ and attach it to a mutant chassis, what are you expecting? 5 star crash test rating? If anything, this is a jovial use of a salvage car rather than the ‘everything is fine’ bait and switch. It least it LOOKS dangerous and people will treat it as such.

Whats wrong with the S line? You get the exterior aero bits, lower stiffer suspension, a nicer interior with a better bolstered perforated leather seat and a sportier steering wheel. Its perfect for someone who doesn’t want the power of a true S but still wants a sporty ride.

You shut your whorish mouth!

...or, I have more important values than a rolling chair.

Also a valid point. Though for my commuter I choose to just buy an old nice car. My commuter car is a 2004 Range Rover. It’s not perfect cosmetically so I don’t care if it gets roughed up, and it was only $3000 which is cheaper than literally any new econobox. And I get to enjoy heated seats, a good sound system,
