My guy kinda has a dad bod, but is also super strong under it. Turns out, I’m kinda the same (nice squishy curves, but pretty strong for a woman too.) What he wears though? We also both understand that comfort is a priority and are likely ripping off clothes later, so dress up if you want, but neither of us expect

I’m going the other direction & staying with my guy for over a week. I’m hopeful that it will be good.

My place is tiny & my dishwasher thunderous. If anyone is over & we’re trying to talk, listen to something, etc, no dishwasher. Kinda sucks since I am always forgetting to turn it on when I leave my place.

Gahhhh. My ex did this too, despite walking past the sink over & over (& he would complain about lack of space on the table.....Because there were dirty dishes on it!?!?!)

Was recently making my guy a fruit salad and joked about serving an uncut banana in the middle, possibility with a couple grapes or blackberries at the base. We laughed about it, but I didn’t realize it was a thing.

Many people don’t think about it or don’t realize not everything in life is required just because someone else has it or does it. It seems so small, but really thinking about some things can make you realize they don’t bring you as much joy as other people tell you.

Good advice! I always wonder how people assume they will magically have the ability to make a lot of extra money when their costs increase. Why not do it now if it’s so easy?

Not married & w/o kids. Def gives me some wiggle room, but I’ve also prioritized & had to do it myself (& living in LA, cost of housing is significant & I pay CA state taxes w/o some tax benefits.) I live in a nicer area, but in a tiny apt (same place despite making over double what I did when I moved in over a decade

This is me as well. Generally, don’t let your lifestyle inflate with your income & you’ll have wiggle room. Some hobbies or desires might seem expensive, but by focusing & not spending & wasting just because it’s there, you can more easily financially support them.

I don’t know about the corn syrup crap, but real maple syrup needs to be kept in the fridge. It can mold.

I live near Burbank, but ticket options are way more limited for Burbank and usually 2 times the price & usually require transfers and can then take a few extra hours. I have literally never driven to LAX in all my years of livingin LA - I use the flyaway bus.

What failed about it? I ask because I make egg salad with avocado instead of mayo & I love it. Same ingredients, slightly different prep = ?????

I wish Burbank was cheaper than LAX.....

USee, I don’t ever want someone else in my dating profile pics because it becomes too weird unless they 100% know what you’re doing & where the pic is posted. I don’t want to get someone in trouble in their own life or not respect their privacy. For example, my sister really doesn’t want a pic of her & I on my tinder

There are charts comparing the amount of $$$each state gives to the federal govt vs. the benefits they receive. California is one of the states that doesn’t get as much from the govt as they contribute.

Remember a huge portion of the produce eaten in the US comes from Cali.....

Also, make pozole!!!!

I thought it was kinda funny they didn’t mention that in the article! Guess they don’t want attention brought to her being a former xojaner?

I recently read a book called “give & take”, which was helpful for me. It essentially talked about people being givers, takers or matchers and how these different tendencies seem to affect people & how they do things in life. Givers were both least successful in life & the most successful. One of the key factors was
