I had the “SS” version of the Monte Carlo after I got out of college. First new car. Was a peppy fun to drive car even if it was a bit of a boat. Only had ~200 HP, so I can imagine this with 335 is quite good.

Whats the point of even having a driver in the car if its controlled by brain waves? Put them all in a chair in the pits and drive the cars from there. No more worries about on track safety, for the drivers anyhow.

Running a 2014 spec car, with an updated nose for 2015 regs, with a 2014 Ferrari engine. The whole season was basically to keep the team running until 2016.

Was referring to Manor’s drivers in that bit. I think they should give Rossi the seat, and I wouldnt be to surprised to learn that part of the Merc engine deal would be the second seat going to Pascal Wehrlein, Merc’s hotshot young test driver who was/is this year’s DTM champ.

With the Ferrari engine, a bunch of their know how, a couple of solid drivers, you’re damn right they can succeed. They’re going to be a solid, albeit, backmarker team, which I think will finish in the points (9th or 10th) at least once.

It wont even be a contest until its time to go around a corner.

It’s actually a better theory than Haas wanting him as a driver, because the entire goal of Haas as an F1 team is to increase the presence of Haas Automation overseas, so they don’t give 2 shits about having an American driver.
