Went in with no expectations and was thoroughly entertained. Had a very "Army of Darkness" type of vibe to it. Didn't take itself seriously at all and was very tongue-in-cheek.

I just wanted to see a movie — any movie — and Crank looked like it might be a fun action flick. I was surprised by how entertainingly bonkers it was.

There's a difference between "handmade touch" and "broken as fuck." The knitters I know meticulously track down minor errors - problems like those shown in the pictures would not pass. If they wanted to make a statement, they could have gone for the equivalent of italic lettering instead of YELLING IN ALL CAPS.
