Agree, something in the middle, and just 1 model for the service. I hate that industry can’t just properly regulate itself and requires nannies, because in theory I don’t like government nannies, but we people are too fucking greedy as a population.

This thing is awesome, but it really makes me want to see them make a street-focused Ridgeline Type R, complete with angular character lines, wheel vents, and a wing.

Amazing. Then we have the guy suing Laguna Seca because he ate it going over a small sandbag....

Eh. Nah. I’ll probably enjoy it. And I’m not any sort of marvel fanboy. The first installment made me laugh. I want to say you enjoy it if you don’t overthink it, but that makes me feel like I’m saying it actually sucked, which I don’t think it did. I can’t really think of a good comparison?

I respect the person for admitting their mistake and accepting responsibility for their actions (or inactions).

Yes but it doesn’t forward the anti-Musk and anti-self driving car narative in the news.

The driver admitted that she was looking at her smartphone instead of the road. This accident was completely the driver’s fault. Next case.

While not dishonorably discharged

Stop it we need to embrace others in car culture and encourage them. Otherwise they might do stupid stuff. /s

I’d recommend spending it where the seller isn’t pushing a used car at a new car price. That price point seems wildly out of wack.

Interesting how personal lens impacts our perceptions. I read it entirely as poking fun at the long running internet scam meme of the Nigerian Prince’ looking to import funds to the US. I have actually received one of those emails. “I will give you a 10% fee for helping me bring $10.0m into the US...”

She’s not wearing Nomex. She’s wearing advertisements. The advertisements just happen to be on Nomex.

What a load of crap. This has nothing to do with Tesla. Find some dignity you hack.

No, it needs that radio...

If you get pissed off by a comic strip, make a Family Circus dotted line path into traffic.

Your experience was caused in part by the “tragedy of the commons”. Basically any public resource will be [ab]used and depleted because people act in their own self-interest rather than in the common good. See also “people littering in parks” and “really gross public transportation”.

Yeah, but why accept responsibility for your own actions when you can blame someone else and sue for millions?

The Ford Cul-de-Sac.

I would like to hope the fine acts as protection.

Sorry but not sorry, speeding isn’t okay. I’m sorry you can’t speed through a neighborhood anymore because of speeding cameras. It really sucks that your “enjoyment” of your fast car is so much more important than the safety of people living in a neighborhood.
