I’m sorry, I saw the words “Pacific Rim” and “terrible” in the same sentence and I immediately stopped paying attention.

Tell you what- take a sport tourer and start from Chicago and drive to the Black hills in South Dakota. If that doesn’t explain why you’d want a bike like this, nothing will.

Because on lighter, smaller bikes you get fatiguing wobble and crosswind buffeting when doing long cruises. Motorcycles are like the opposite of trucks. As long as someone buys it and doesn’t learn they are scared to ride it it seems bikes get put into their designed line of work. Goldwings end up with tons of miles

at what point does it just become a bad financial decision...and at what point does wrenching just become a pain in the ass

Yup. That would do it. Never do something like that on a plane. They will give you the stowed item and they will have you leave the plane. Not in the good way though. This would explain why she was kicked off. Airlines are expected to have zero tolerance with that shit. All that “the customer is always right” bullshit

Woman refused to disembark plane after her stroller was already under the plane and was removed as a result. This has nothing to do with being black and everything to do with refusing to follow directions.

Nope. Most cars don’t travel far and run-flats are sufficient for most issues.

This is no surprise, is it? I would be shocked, shocked I tell you, if you said more than 25% of people driving around knew how to change a tire.

If the stroller was gate-checked, it was likely already in the cargo hold. Retrieving the stroller would mean re-opening the cargo hold and unloading luggage, followed by opening the cargo hold and re-loading the luggage. The airline won’t do this.

Remember those laws about not locking people in planes until the lemon-soaked paper napkins arrive? I’m pretty sure they were getting the passengers out onto the terminal and Williams wanted to push the baby instead of carry, andthe staff knew that there was no viable way to go digging through the checked luggage

I don’t wanna be “that guy,” but can we get a little clarity on this? Was she trying to get her stroller while she was still on the plane? Where was she going to put it? Was she trying to get off the plane with the stroller? Was everyone getting off the plane?

They are busy making money, not commenting on Jalopnik...

Do we know it doesn’t? Everyone seems to just be assuming it doesn’t.

We have over 10 million readers a month, many of them can afford to buy a new or used exotic car. Those folks just don’t often show up in the comments. Furthermore, it’s not like every single piece of car buying advice on this site has to do with exotic cars.

Tell him his dad never taught him karate.

You and me both. When I say “spare”, I usually mean “extra” or “backup”, but it can also mean “Scanty; not abundant or plentiful” according to Wiktionary

Shiba’s as a breed tend to be more cat like than dog. Which is awesome, but the few I’ve known have driven their owners, that were used to labs, insane at times.

An automated line to do something as simple as secondary packaging of say, syringes, can take months and months to set up beyond the initial design, build, debug, install, etc.
