They are contracted employees. I assume adult women know to read contracts before signing and agreeing to the terms. I won’t insult them by clutching my pearls that they have to adhere to their contracts.

.... haven’t pulled this one out in a while, but; Dear Mr. Lasner and Dear Husband of Mr. Lasner,
Yes, I’ve known my share of obnoxious, aggressive, dishonest women too. There are more of them now than there used to be. But often there is a kind of blindness to women’s ideas when a group with multiple men is in discussion. It’s real.
I have a problem with the course’s name. If there was a class called the “The Problem of Blackness,” or “The Problem of Hispanics,” or “The Problem of Jewishness” this website would be up in arms. Being born a particular way isn’t a problem. Nor should it be treated as such.
Hollywood is especially tough on our Asian American actors and actresses. It’s really unfair.
It’s great to meet new people and discover you have common interests.
The Trump years are going to make us look back on 2016 with fondness.
Cho has made herself one of the main voices of this debate and was publicly criticizing the movie and Swinton. If someone does that, they can’t then claim that if someone wants to talk about it with them that they are being turned to as the only Asian in the room. She has set herself up as an expert on this issue for…
Please. Misled. Is the past tense.
The prior article written about the situation.
Fair enough.
I’m having difficulty understanding Margaret Cho’s perspective here.
Dumb. Taking shit out of context STILL does not make Swinton racist in this case.
This is so dumb. We have an electoral college, so candidates campaign around that. If it was a popular vote the campaign trail would look dramatically different. So, we have no idea who would have won a popular vote, if that’s what mattered.
In light of WikiLeaks’s involvement in this election cycle, I highly doubt her sentence will be commuted any time soon. Even though the information she released has nothing to do with the election (obviously, having be in prison for the last six years), Manning’s leaked documents really put WikiLeaks on the map.
That’s how it fucking works. You can’t just tell someone to believe something and it magically happen. Stepping in different shoes makes the whole difference. I don’t see why she should be shamed for coming to that on her own terms.
In 2011, Kristin Davis adopted Gemma Rose Davis. In 2016, Davis realized that her whiteness only protects her and not her daughter. Great.
What, two black guys who don’t agree with feminist ideology? Color me shocked whilst I clutch my pearls in anguish.
i get the snark, but really, for women of faith, this is a huge deal to them. Right or wrong, they feel like they’ve sinned and need forgiveness. This is a good thing. This is one of those moments where we can step out of our bubble a little bit and understand the progress that this is for faithful Catholics.
Do you have any links to sexed up Disney Princesses so I understand what you are referencing?
