I think your comment gets to the heart of a lot of the cultural problems we’re facing. People who live in cities (generally speaking) are better exposed to the full spectrum of humanity whereas those in rural and remote areas live in homogeneity. As such, they’re more susceptible to more binary thinking: good/bad,

David Duke is not a member of Congress. Your post is disingenuous.

I don’t know. Bad ideas fester in the dark. Dragging them into the light and destroying them does a lot to rob them of their power.

My experience w/r/t quality has been the opposite, with Lyft slightly ahead. That said, most drivers drive for both Uber and Lyft, so it’s likely your experience wouldn’t bear out over time given the rule of large numbers.

“How could Uber drivers possibly be employees if they are using their own cars and working their own hours?”

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Doesn’t matter.

If you haven’t already, check out Klute.

“This needs to be tattooed on white America’s forehead”

Unfortunately, the alt-right is a Millennial movement.

It’s not your duty, it’s in your interest.

Thanks for the insight. Nobody has made this point in the last month.

No, but the court is rare to backtrack on precedence.

Exactly. Which is why this will be temporary and overruled by SCOTUS.

They understand that this shit won’t fly in blue and purple states, so it’s a way to abdicate responsibility for failing to protect citizens. In the long-term it will be good, as the states’ rights argument has been made and lost in federal courts.

Thanks for this insight.

You don’t understand how the government works, do you?

What specifically makes her a hideous, bloodsucking monster born in the pits of the seventh hell from the unholy union of six demon-goats and a really fucked up imp?

More than just objected, she forced Trump to stick his hands down into the shit rather than letting Sessions do the dirty work for him.

“He’s already deporting our citizens just based on skin color.”
