PLay poker.  No limit texas holdem tourneys.   Not sit and go, until you get decent.  You can find 50 dollar buy in or less tourneys im sure.  Play conservatively (pros fold 85%+ hands in the early parts of tourneys).  Your blind will take you a long way.  You can play for hours and even place decent with a few good

This. I was involved in a huge market study for a prominent Las Vegas casino over a decade ago and we discovered that more that 60% of the visitors to Las Vegas don’t ever gamble at all. People go for the entertainment, food, shopping, etc. Even back then before the transformation of Vegas had really even started.

Atlantic City is horrifying.

You have “sell your shit for gold” shops literally across the street from casinos, most of which, last time I was there, only had windows facing the ocean, rather than toward the blocks full of shops catering to problem gamblers.

But the soullessness and despair gets soaked into the the

Our household calendar has an entry to re-install and try Anthem again Saturday, 22 Feb 2020. Looking forward to seeing their progress.

I’m so surprised that no publication has mentioned this at all yet. It’s kind of disgusting how ill-informed journalists are about this title despite practically every gamer already knowing this. The most egregious aspect is that the announcement website directly wrote “built from the ground up for PC and mobile.”

No arguments on the English voice acting and writing. They were passable enough, but often cringe inducing/ bad. However, the animations were above and beyond for its time, as were the graphics and world detail/ interactivity.
World building was amazing, not sure what you’re talking about. Few games could touch it at

How’s that for irony. I actually did much of the same things the other Joe humorously wrote about for the New Yorker. And I actually did get the exact same responses, but for real, since I *actually* did it. My friends and family thought I was stupid when I moved out of my beautiful large apartment that looked like

You kinda left out one major reason: Western Imperialism. While the Americans didn’t force opium on Japan the way the British did with China, a historian by the name of Mineta Fuko and a handful of other Japanese scholars wrote an account of the first Opium War that was widely distributed among the Japanese nobility

Yeah, when I saw she was in her first year at a top MATH PhD program, I wondered about this...sounds like she was immensely talented, and it takes a very high achiever to accomplish what she did by the age of 23. PhD programs can really exacerbate existing mental health issues, especially in the first year, when

Such a loss, and so sad. From this SF Gate story, it seems like she was so good at so many things:

You must be a youngster. They’ve always been about gimmicks! ROB, the Power Glove, Super Scope, SNES mouse and keyboard, Donkey Kongas, the entire existence of the Virtual Boy and Nintendo Wii...

That would have been a lot more complicated — and heavier, and more expensive. Retracting it doesn’t help unless you plan to drill in a different spot, and the placement of the mole was a long and complicated process.

This reminds me of My Name Is Earl where every time the Latina character would speak extended Spanish it would be some comment about how the audience at home did not know what she was saying and the rest would be a nonsequitor.

Now granted, I’ve only really dabbled in fighting games over the years, but I still think that Weapon Master mode in Soul Calibur 2 was the best single content I've played in a fighting game.

Oh God, that story about the person staring at the sun is nightmare fuel.

Dubbed Minus World, it was never meant to be played, instead serving as a hidden depository for data in the game that exists outside of the main path.

If memory serves correctly he had some sort of brain injury happen to him where he doesn’t even really remember the part of his life where he was on “Malcolm in the Middle”. So it’s good to see him doing something that keeps him happy and pays the bills. Seems like things could have easily gone the other way.

Oh man.  I LOVED MD back in the day.  I used to use it to record live shows in college (with permission of course) by plugging into the sound board.  I loved the versatility of the format.  I even went so far as to put a MD head unit in my car at the time.  It was a shame it never caught on here.  Just another great

If Yang bought it online then it wasn’t the radioactive isotope of Thallium. It was some form of Thallium salts. If that’s the case then Royal should recover fully. Thallium can be readily removed from the body. The radioactive isotopes pose risks of increased chances of cancers later in life though.

That was my first screenshot. It’s a rubbish picture now but I was blown away by the find.
