The Emmy’s are really breaking down barriers by nominating Michael K. Williams as Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for Lovecraft Country. So many laughs! So many of the wrong biological parts!

The original showrunners were missed in the final network-aired season. But, stick through it because the Netflix-aired Year In The Life season was an entertaining return to form in which the characters generally acted like the characters we’ve always known.
This looks amazing. But, the one issue I have with the trailer made it look like the King and Elba are the protagonists (whereas the press release makes it seem like they’re the villains being hunted down). My favorite part: when the lead asks her son if he wants to dance with her and he excitedly yells “Alexa, play the Daily” because the theme music is his dance music of choice. Poor Lonely Boy.

I thought he was amazing in Boogie Nights. Then I saw him in The Corrupter and thought, “Ohhh. I get it. The character in Boogie Nights is the only character he can play.”

@dirtside - Yes. This is my thoughts on this issue as well. While some people are saying that “they” is already used in the singular, it’s not exactly in the same way. But, if this is the future, I’ll get over this mental speed bump as well.
