That line struck me too. As a parent of a daughter heading off to college in 2 weeks, it's just safer for my sanity this way!

Hey, at least it got him out of the draft, man.

Posting memes on Facebook never solves anything, and it only makes you feel dirty.

I was wondering if anyone used Amazon Music. It's interface is a lot easier to look at than Spotify's but I can't imagine the work of moving over my preferences.

I'm on a short story kick and I'm reading the Mammoth Book of SF Stories by Women. A real mixed bag. So far, the story by Nnedi Okorafor is my favorite, so I was glad to see she won a Hugo this weekend (although it's not for the story in the book I'm reading, but a different one).

I liked NOS4A2. It was very much in the style of King while avoiding his worst traits.

This is very good advice.

That's a tough book. Definitely not for little kids. I think it's the first real YA dystopian.

Oh God, yes, excellent pick. And the reviews here are great.

Wow, thanks for doing this. I never knew Dr. Spock and Ben Nighthorse Campbell were Olympians.

Acting annoyed? I'm not annoyed at all, it's just a common misconception and I was hoping people would see it because it is such a common misconception. (Although I thought I saw one of your posts marked a few minutes ago? Totally me being confused.)

I like your list!

Again, only the police can file charges. I'm not sure why you keep insisting random people can file charges and then being angry that they haven't.

Except only the police can press charges. They can make a report to the police, and for all we know, they have.

Yeah, but who wouldn't want to watch a Stan Beeman origin story?

Star Trek Beyond was so good. Definitely the fun summer movie of the year. I can't believe it's not doing well.

Those clowns in Congress, etc, etc.

This trilogy is absolutely awesome, and I'm glad to see it's being made into movies. It's sort of dystopian, but it doesn't take place on Earth, so not really. It definitely won't be more of the same Divergent crap.

Oooh, I haven't tried that. I'm sure it's much better than the fried chicken here in the North, where Wegmans doesn't even sell fried chicken. How do they expect to keep expanding south? And people here even eat KFC. It's barbaric.
