Nope, bars fault for not erasing. It’s a management failure. It waste the time of the customer AND the waitstaff because no one has been tasked with keeping the menu updated.

I’ve seen people on NYE finally get a bartender in a super crowded downtown yuppie place and then start ASKING WHATS ON THE MENU... “What type of chardonay do you have?”
