Yeah, I tend to view NetFlix’s Lost in Space with a more forgiving light because I don’t have unreasonable expectations. Posey’s ‘Smith’ was definitely the highlight of season 1. I’m just glad we’re getting more original content from streaming services like NetFlix and Prime, especially in sci-fi and fantasy.

It’s kind of why the original Dr. Smith became less deceitful and more cowardly as the series went on. That way there was less of a justification of the Robinsons to kill him.

I laughed out loud at Michael’s first torture question - “Unless you’d rather sit out here?”

I had to rewind after Chidi opened the note because I was crying. Seeing Eleanor smile because she read the note in his glasses made me happy cry.

I dunno, newborn Chidi crying over the first hypothetical instance of decision making ("It looks like he has a tummyache!") was pretty hilarious in my book.

I find multiple moments to be genuinely hilarious each episode. It may be slightly less “funny” than it was in, say, the first season, but not by much, and each episode still qualifies as funny nonetheless.

You sir, are my new hero.  Thank you for this.

Not to take away from Bell, but The Good Place’s trump card has been weaponizing how familiar we are with Ted Danson after his long career and how much we like him. In fact, it used how much we like him against us considering Michael’s revealed to be a demon in Season 1. Then he flips the towel over his shoulder and…

I don’t know how they do it, but both Bell and Danson open up those evil cackles to reveal what seem to be EXTRA TEETH in that instant. Like a fair dozen more than humans typically have. They’re performing their own special effect, no CGI needed. Damn geniuses.

That laugh made me think we’d been watching demons in Michael and Eleanor suits the whole season

It pisses me off that Kristen Bell was never even nominated for an Emmy for Veronica Mars & that she still is underrated somehow

Man, her “evil demon voice” was awesome. And weirdly arousing. 

Kristen Bell is so damn likable as a presence that she ends up criminally underrated as a performer.  I don’t really pay attention to awards but she needs to win something for this series.

Simone is right about the world and the concept of soulmates.

Those last 6 months really went quickly. And of course it all blows up 5 hours before deadline. Everything is falling apart and then we once again see the core qualities that make them all work. Michael’s love of human stuff. Jason’s incredible insight - twice (no wonder Tahani thought he was replaced by a demon).…

There is so much in that brief second. Kristin Bell is great.
